Helps Homes Sell Faster!
As a realtor I need dependable and quality companies on my side. In this tough real estate market you need every edge to beat the competition. In a recent home sale I suggested to my sellers to have Gleaming the View clean their windows before the home even went on the market. The windows looked amazing and the natural light did wonders to showcase the home. We sold the home in 30 days! But that's not all during the home inspection the inspector noted a gutter leak and full gutters. One call to Gleaming the View and they were out the next day to take care of the problem for my sellers at a very reasonable price. Thank you Gleaming the View for all your help on getting my seller's home sold.

Wood Roof Gutter Cleaning Project / SW Ptld. PDF Print E-mail

wood roof gutter cleaning project
Tackling a  wood roof gutter cleaning project in SW Portland we discovered vines growing throughout the system.  These vines cause the Fir tree needle debris to accumulate and back up the system.  They look great growing up the siding of the home but is causing some major over flowing issues.  It is necessary to cut them back to ensure the proper functioning of the gutter and downspout system.
We often discover wood roofs creating there own unique gutter muck.  I believe its caused by the algae run off creating a mud like muck that makes some pretty messy cleaning projects.   Another common problem with a wood shake roof is the gutter system catching small pieces of  the shakes that commonly float down and wedge in the downspout.   Usually a pretty simple but invasive fix removing the downspout and shaking it out.

Gutter Gardens in Hillsboro, Or. PDF Print E-mail

dirty gutter
A gutter garden can happen pretty quick here in the Pacific Northwest.  This gutter cleaning project done in Hillsboro, Or. in September 09' was on the brink of pulling all the gutters down around the house.  What you cant see in this picture is a root system of this one plant that spans about 6 ft.  under all the pods and fir tree needle debris.   We have come across far worse than this, like 4 ft corn plants and even a full garden.
This particular home the gutters were done 14 months prior to this visit.  A more frequent cleaning maybe every 6 months would more suit this homes gutter systems maintenance needs.  I often return to our new customers homes in 6 months or so especially in questionable areas like this home that has a fir tree wood line in there back yard.  Its a good idea to have me do that to better measure a good preventative maintenance cleaning for you, to help prevent the gutter gardens.   Your the homes front line of defense so please contact us before the gardens bloom preferably.  CLICK HERE - Your Hillsboro gutter cleaners

fall gutter cleaning season in oregon
As you can see the yellow leafs in the picture shows our fall gutter season in Oregon is just beginning.  I was driving through many neighborhoods today looking at trees and how they all are turning to various beautiful colors, including brown!  Although not all brown and down yet this project couldn't wait.  The gutter sections that led to actual downspout were all clogged up!  Its never good to let your gutters spill over for any amount of time.  Contact us immediately and most often I swing over and clear the clog no charge just to hold you over till the rest of your leaves are down.   This is especially important if you have a basement or have a sloped foundation.  Click here for a free quote from OREGON'S GUTTER CLEANING EXPERTS.
