BEST IN TOWN!! HANDS DOWN
I have used them for years as well as my family and friends and EVERY time have felt we got MORE than what we paid for. They are efficient, reliable, affordable, and do an AMAZING job! Many times they have gone above and beyond the job requirements and are impeccable when it comes to customer service and satisfaction. Tim the owner even came to my house and fixed 2 screens for me that were not even part of the job (which was pressure washing the siding and roof and removing moss). I will ONLY ever use Gleaming The View and would recommend them highly to anyone...including my mother, who uses their services exclusively for herself and her real estate clients!! GREAT JOB!! THANK YOU ;o)

Christmas Lights - Hillsboro Project PDF Print E-mail

This was a very exciting Christmas light project for us in Hillsboro, Or.  Our customers are truly great people.   This project took us 12 hours.  We installed the lighting along the upper gutter line.  C5 LED multi colored bulbs with Icicles hanging behind.  The grounds consist of numerous statues, wrapped fences, wound up trees reindeer figurines and what I think really topped it off was the netting on the siding.  All these thousands of lights wired in to a timer & music box that makes the lighting dance to the music.  What a great time we had there.  I should have a short video to add soon of the project.  Thank you!christmas lights - hillsboro project

NW Portland Gutter Cleaning Project PDF Print E-mail

nw portland gutter cleaning While doing an estimate in NW Portland today for a roof & gutter cleaning on this home that's going on the market, I came across a moss filled gutter section.  Although it doesn't surprise me, It just gos to show that even if trees are not contributing the regular debris build up that normally causes the clogs, the NW weather and roof run off creates its own.  Many people that don't have trees around there property often will not think about gutter cleaning, until an over flow occurs.  Judging by the moss accumulation I would guess the gutters haven't been touched in several years or more.

If your gutters are slightly off pitch then there holding water making a prime environment for moss to grow inside them.  If you haven't had your gutters looked at in a few years and your not comfortable looking your self, then please don't hesitate to call.  We can check your entire gutter system for your home, just in case you have something like this hiding up there.

Gutter Cleaning - Tigard Project PDF Print E-mail

This gutter cleaning project in Tigard was just done a month ago.  We received a call from our customer on Friday saying she had a clogged downspout!  I was very concerned since we just cleaned them.  I arrived at the home about an hour later and discovered all her gutters were full already.  A few days prior we had a wind storm and it had blown all the fir needles out of the tree causing all the gutters to back up and over flow.  We have a 90 day no clog guarantee so I gladly re cleaned them and got the gutter system functioning again.  Please dont hesitate to call for a gutter cleaning before the leafs are all down, I will always take great care of our customers.

holiday lighting portland
holiday lighting portland 2An incredible view from a holiday lighting project in NW Portland.   This custom contemporary home was glowing in the fog 5 miles away.  The Christmas light display  is truly a one of a kind masterpiece.  Using clips we were able to attach the lighting to the metal siding and run nearly 300 feet outlining the front of the home.
We still have openings for holiday lighting installation for December.  Feel free to contact us for a design consultation

Stuffed Gutters in Hillsboro PDF Print E-mail

stuffed gutters hillsboro These are some stuffed gutters!  This mornings project in Hillsboro, I came across this small section that has been over stuffed.  We should certainly clean them more often than the yearly visit we have to this home.  What could happen is all this debris that stays wet resting at the roof edge causes the water to wick up behind the gutter fascia board potentially causing rot or premature corrosion on the roof edge.  Not to mention the weight this section of gutter is holding can pull the gutters down. I suggested a 6 month partial gutter cleaning to ensure the proper functioning of the gutter system.

Another issue is the roof moss on this back hard to see side of the house.  This seems to be the only area at the home that collects moss growth like this.  We remedied it with a spray on moss inhibitor which should cause the moss to slowly die and hopefully go away.  An annual treatment of this area would be good preventative maintenance.
