Pressure washing is the application of high pressure water spray produced by specially designed pumps producing a hundred times more power than your typical garden hose. It is typically requested to remove and keep mold and algae off the exterior areas around your home and business as well as the siding itself. If not contained and caught prior to it becoming severe, algae and mold can cause extreme damage as well as being aesthetically unappealing.
Although there are many types of pressure washing one can do, we typically utilize a select couple to ensure the integrity of the item while still maintaining the quality of service we strive to provide.
The first application would be to clean the surface with what’s known to many as a “wand” or a “gun application”. Using this method we are able to focus on one particular area with finite detail. The second type is the use of a surface cleaner that looks similar to a floor buffer but without the pad providing water at a rate of up to 4000 psi @ 6 gallons per minute. This is the preferable method of use as it eliminates the potential for lines being left on the surface being cleaned.
Gleaming the View offers the following pressure washing services:
- Concrete Surfaces such as drive ways, patios, stairs, font walks and sidewalks - restores the look of the concrete and removes dirt build up and surface stains. - Wood Decks and Patios (water pressure is generally turned to low on the surfaces maintaining the integrity of the wood) - Gutter Fascia - brightens the look of your gutters by removing dirt and debris build up - Siding - removes dirt, moss, algae and other debris - restoring the shine and minimizing potential long term damage
